Digital out-of-home
Digital out-of-home (DOOH) means screens where ads rotate in a loop. The advertiser is not buying the whole face but a share of time — a number of slots or plays. The advantage is flexibility: the creative can change without printing, the campaign can be timed to certain hours and days, and it can launch in days rather than weeks.
What we deliver
- Selecting screen networks by location and target audience
- Planning loop share, play counts and scheduling
- Buying directly from operators and programmatically
- Checking creative specifications for each network
- Verifying plays against operators’ reports
A share of the loop, not the whole face
Several advertisers rotate on a digital screen. Loop length and the number of slots decide how often your creative appears and how long it stays on screen. Spots are short, usually a few seconds, and mostly silent.
So creative is designed as a short animation or still with a clear message. Video shot for TV can be cut down, but it must work without sound — worth planning for during production.
Scheduling and programmatic buying
Digital faces can show advertising only at certain times of day, on chosen days, or by external conditions such as weather. A coffee campaign can run in the morning, a restaurant campaign at lunchtime.
Some networks can also be bought programmatically, in impressions and based on footfall data. That brings sharper targeting but also a need to verify how many plays actually happened — operators supply reports, which we check against the order.
Frequently asked
- Can a TV spot run on a digital screen?
- A cut-down, yes, but it must work without sound and at the length the network accepts — usually a few seconds. Resolution and aspect ratio vary by network, so creative is prepared to each operator’s specification.
- What does a digital screen campaign cost?
- The price depends on the network, locations, loop share, campaign length and targeting; programmatic buying is priced in impressions. There is no poster printing. Send the inquiry form for a concrete proposal.
