Billboards and large format
Outdoor advertising cannot be switched off or skipped. Its effectiveness depends not on how many faces a campaign has, but on where they stand, how visible they are and how many people from the target audience pass them. One billboard at a city exit can do more than five faces on side roads.
What we deliver
- Selecting specific faces by location, visibility and traffic direction
- Comparing operators’ offers on cost per contact
- Negotiating rental periods, price and replacement faces
- Coordinating poster printing and posting by format
- Verifying posting from photo evidence and a final evaluation
Formats and periods
The most common formats are the billboard (510 × 240 cm), the bigboard (960 × 360 cm) and the citylight (118.5 × 175 cm), which is backlit and sits close to pedestrians — at bus stops and in town centres. Each format needs its own version of the visual, because it is read from a different distance and at a different speed.
Faces are rented by period, typically a month or 14 days. Posters are printed separately, and their production and posting are planned in advance so the creative is up from the first day of the rental.
Creative for three seconds
A driver has only a few seconds for a billboard. The visual needs one message, strong contrast, large type and minimal copy. What works in a magazine usually does not work on a billboard.
It is worth checking the visual at real size and in the context of the face before it is printed. Our sister company OMNIA PRODUCTION can shoot the campaign visual, and because the formats are known up front, nothing has to be cropped after the fact.
Frequently asked
- How long is a billboard rented for?
- Usually a month or 14 days, and with some operators longer. A shorter rental suits a promotion with a clear date; a longer one builds awareness in the region. On longer campaigns, plan a creative change so the face does not lose attention.
- What does a billboard campaign cost?
- The price depends on location, format, period and number of faces; faces in city centres and on main routes cost more. Poster printing and posting come on top of rental. Send the inquiry form for a concrete selection of faces.
