Transit advertising
People in transit spend time regularly and often have nothing else to do. Ads inside public transport vehicles and stations get a longer contact than a roadside billboard, and a vehicle wrap moves around the city collecting contacts in many places. Each format has its own logic: inside a vehicle it is read, outside it is glimpsed.

A vehicle wrap travels the city
A full wrap on a tram or bus is a large, eye-catching surface that reaches many parts of the city each day. The choice of line decides where it goes — through the centre or the outskirts. Producing a wrap takes longer than printing a poster, and rentals are usually for longer periods.
The transport operator or advertising concessionaire approves the creative, because the vehicle must stay safe to operate: windows, doors and route signs have their own rules. So artwork is prepared to the template of the specific vehicle type.
Inside the vehicle, people read
Interior posters and screens in vehicles and metro stations sit in front of passengers for several minutes. There is room for longer copy, a QR code or contact details that would not work on a billboard.
Metro stations and major rail stations concentrate large numbers of people at the same time, especially at rush hour. For a city-wide campaign, they are an efficient complement to large-format outdoor.
Frequently asked
- How long does a tram or bus wrap take to prepare?
- Allow several weeks: artwork to the vehicle template, operator approval, film production and installation when the vehicle is out of service. Interior posters are quicker. So the schedule is planned backwards from the date the wrap needs to be on the road.
- What does transit advertising cost?
- It depends on the city, format, number of vehicles or faces and rental length; for wraps, production and installation come on top. Send the inquiry form for a concrete proposal.
